PR don'ts...
Last month, I sat through several informative panel discussions at the Americana Music Conference. One of the more entertaining panel discussions was on how to get publicity if you are a musician. One of the points a panelist made was the importance of knowing the difference between the words " its " and " it's ".
Some people may call this newspaper writer a word nazi - but he has a point. Sometimes it's (see - I used the right one) the little things that get you noticed (or unnoticed).
If you want to break through the clutter, you have to know what these writers look for. However, we can't forget the fundamentals. It's just the way it is.
